Change provides a healthy opportunity to explore where we have the power to make things different, and where we don’t. Even when you feel powerless, you can always steer your own ship regardless of the direction of the wind.
You can try and stop changes in your life, or you can dive right in and make the best of a life where only one thing is sure. Change will happen. Sure, it can be scary, but there are rewards.
Change will happen and is certain to keep on happening. Once there were saber toothed tigers roaming the earth, now there are none. Radio once ruled the airwaves. Two decades ago, you were in the minority if you used the internet regularly, we have all lost loved ones. All of our bodies continue to change.
You have seen a lot of change in your life, and more changes are on the way! We don’t know what the changes will be, but change is sure to come, it’s inevitable. Most importantly, Change will come, like it or not.

- Opportunity. When you accept the change in your life and make the most of it, you accept the opportunity that comes with it. You are more likely to make more progress by accepting change than by attempting to fight it. Change provides new opportunities and choices.
- Reduced Stress. The most successful species on the planet are those that able to adapt to their changing world. The most successful people are also better at managing change than others. When we can accept change, you are free from the stranglehold of stress.
- Realistic Control. Fighting change often demonstrates how little control we have in certain areas of our life. By accepting change, we adapt and make good use of the change. We prove to ourselves that we have control in life by changing the aspects of our life that we control.
Fighting change is often a losing battle that results in misery, while going with the flow can often produce less stress and give you an opportunity to make something good happen.
- Opportunities. Change can paralyze some of us. And this makes us miss out on many of the opportunities that life has to offer. Accepting change allows you to get busy being free again. There are always opportunities available to those that are ready to make a change.

- Serenity. Fighting the inevitable can destroy anyone. In all of our lives, there are things that can’t be stopped. You can’t stop sun from rising or setting. There are many of changes in life that you simply will happen, like it or not.
The only things that are inevitable are death and change. When we die, we can stop worrying about changes in life. Until then, we need to accept that life brings us changes we cannot control and focus our efforts on the parts of life we can improve.
